PROSIM simulates the set-up / run / adjust / re-run cycle of scientific experiments or production processes, including their inherent variability. Use data from your own experiments or processes - or explore some hypothetical ones. You can achieve during a single sitting what would take many times longer in the lab. Minimum cost. PROSIM is an ideal training companion for DoE or Design for Six Sigma programs and software. Pharmaceutical companies use PROSIM to explore the design of new drug formulations through to production, transfer & manufacture. Biotechnology and Analytical laboratories use it to demonstrate Method Development and Validation.
In PROSIM, the model that represents the experiment or process that is being simulated is called a Model Scenario. Within each Model Scenario are held all the parameters that define the experiment or process, including its inherent variability. A Model Scenario is defined using the following parameters:
PROSIM is delivered with a sample Model Scenario, ready to run.

To run a model scenario:

You can view the Results Table at any stage by selecting the menu Analysis>View Results Table. For each run, you’ll be able to see the input values, the responses and whether or not the target criteria were met.

You can import a design layout (i.e. factors and their settings) that has been created previously in your favourite DoE package. When you click the Fit Design to Model button, PROSIM generates the responses for each of the imported run settings, colour-coding the responses against the criteria for success as before.

From the PROSIM Results Table, you can copy and paste into a statistical package for detailed analysis. Either Reponses Only or both Factors and Responses may be exported.
