10 top universities attend the UCP workshop

learn.pngWe’ve had a chance now to gather breath and do some follow-ups after the latest running of the Understanding Chemical Processes workshop hosted by the S3RI at Southampton University. It was a very busy and intense 3 days – and thanks should go to the sponsors, in particular GSK, AstraZeneca and the Chemistry Innovation Knowledge Transfer Network, for keeping the registration fees at the nominal level. This made for a really impressive take-up from academia for places on the workshop. 10 of the top universities in the UK and Ireland were represented among the 25 postgrads and lecturers who attended. We had at least one representative from each of the following institutions:

  • Bangor University
  • University of Bristol
  • Herriot-Watt University
  • Imperial College London
  • Dublin City University
  • University of Southampton
  • University of Oxford
  • Durham University
  • University of Strathclyde
  • Loughborough University
