Understanding Chemical Processes - 12-14 Sep 2007

learn.pngSeptember will see the 5th running of the successful Understanding Chemical Processes workshop at the University of Southampton. This industry-sponsored event is designed to assist the UK Chemistry Academic Community in promoting data-driven decision-making within their student teams. The programme is organised and hosted by the S3RI at the University of Southampton, with PRISMTC presenting many of the key sessions.

This learning programme is aimed at academics within the chemistry community who want to help their students develop a deeper understanding of reaction factors in order to develop robust, commercially-viable chemical processes. It is also aimed at researchers who wish to apply their understanding of the underlying chemistry in support of data-driven decisions and in search of optimised processes.

Thanks to sponsorship from industry, GSK and AstraZeneca in particular, and funding from the Chemistry Innovation Knowledge Transfer Network, places for this 3-day residential workshop are offered at nominal £50. Spaces are limited, but if your interests and current position (as academic or researcher) fit, why not visit the programme website to find out how to apply for a place? Alternatively, you can register your interest via the website, prior to making an application.
