DoE Workshops Cambridge Sept 2008

learn.pngOn Tue 17th and Wed 18th Sept, we’ll be running our popular Design of Experiments Workshops at the St Johns Innovation Centre in Cambridge. During the workshops, which provide an introduction to and an exploration of the principles and practice of DoE, you'll get hands-on experience of use of the StatEase tool Design Expert DX7.

DoE Start-Up on the Tuesday and DoE Follow-Up on the Wednesday. You can sign up now for either workshop at £375 plus VAT – or attend both days at £695 plus VAT.

DoE Start-Up: One-day workshop. 0930-1700 Tue 17th Sept 2008

An introduction to Designed Experiments

  • Design and analyze your own screening and robustness experiments
  • Run economical designs to locate the few key factors from the trivial many during the early stages of experimentation
  • Experiment to help you gain both process knowledge and confidence
  • Identify feasible operating regions in which to operate your process in order to meet all the criteria for your multiple responses
  • Apply what you have learned back at the workplace

DoE Follow-Up: One-day workshop. 0930-1700 Wed 18th Sept 2008

A follow-up session designed to give a more in-depth understanding to those who already have a grounding in the principles of DoE

  • Understand the iterative nature and cost effectiveness of a sequential DoE strategy to locate and efficiently model an optimum
  • Choose the right designs and analyses to enable you to confidently make decisions in order to reach robust optimums for increased throughput, quality and production
  • Construct a map of your process, assay, system or product in preparation for technology transfer or scale-up
